Tram and bus diversion at Tomkovo náměstí
Due to the continuing works on construction of the large city beltway, Tomkovo náměstí is impassable from Dukelská and Valchařská streets from Saturday 1 June 2023 till Friday 26 April 2024.
Tram line 4 operates only in the section Náměstí Míru – Tomkovo náměstí.
• The stop Tomkovo náměstí is relocated to the intersection with Hálkova street.
• For travelling to Maloměřice and Obřany, we recommend to use tram lines 2 and 3 to the stop Stará osada, where transfer to bus lines x45 and 75 is possible (details below).
Replacement transport is provided by bus line x45 on the route (Židenice, nádraží –) Stará osada – Karlova – Maloměřický most Proškovo náměstí – Babická.
• In addition to line x45, also regular bus line 75 may be used. For travelling from Obřany and Maloměřice to the city centre, we recommend to use the lines x45 and 75 to the stop Stará osada with transfer to tram lines 2 and 3.
• On working days evening and on non-working days all day long, line x45 is entangled with line 58 at the stop Stará osada, i.e. buses of line x45 continue as line 58 towards Líšeň, hřbitov and vice versa.
In accordance with the information mentioned above, bus line 58 operates only in the section Líšeň, hřbitov – Stará osada on working days evening and on non-working days all day long.
Bus line 72 in the section Merhautova – Maloměřický most is diverted directly through Tomkovo náměstí and Karlova street in both directions.
• During peak hours of working days, all connections of line 72 will go all the way to Obřany (a part of connections to the loop Babická, another part of connections all the way to the stop Obřany, sídliště).
• The stop Tomkovo náměstí is served at the stops of lines 44, 57 and 84 in both directions.
• On the diversion route, line 72 serves the stop Karlova in both directions.
• The stop Maloměřický most is served at the stop of line 75 in both directions.
• The stop Cacovická is out of service.
Night bus line N94 in the section Vozovna Husovice – Maloměřický most is diverted throuh Vranovská, Merhautova, Provazníkova and Karlova streets in both directions already from beginning of night lines operation on Friday 30 June 2023 evening.
• The stop Vozovna Husovice is served at the stop towards Náměstí Republiky in both directions.
• On the diversion route, line N94 further serves the stops Venhudova (stops of line 5), Merhautova (stops of lines 44, 57 and 84), Tomkovo náměstí (stops of lines 44, 57 and 84) and Karlova (stops of line 75).
• The stop Maloměřický most is served at the stops of line 75 in both directions.
• The stops Náměstí Republiky and Cacovická are not served by line N94.
